Hot and Spicy!

It should be no surprise that Judy Broussard’s company, jude designs in Carencro, Louisiana, has more than 20 designs featuring TABASCO® Brand products manufactured by McIlhenny Company in Avery Island, Louisiana, less than 40 miles from her home. It’s all part of the Cajun seasoning with which Jude (as her family and friends call her) flavors her designs.

“My designs are greatly influenced by our ancestry, with the foods and spices,” she said. It influences her design so much so that when the opportunity to use the brand in needlepoint became available, she jumped at the chance. She recently partnered with McIlhenny Company under license for use of the TABASCO® brand in creating new, hot and spicy needlepoint designs. Luckily, red is her favorite color.
